Sinn 358 Flieger Chronograph - 2015

Here we have another magnificent tool watch from the masters at Sinn.

The Sinn 358 is an evolution of the brilliant 356, now housed in a larger 42mm case. That case is made of steel, with a bead blasted finish and is sealed with an acrylic crystal which lends a lovely vintage vibe to what is a thoroughly modern watch. Why acrylic on a modern watch you may ask? Better shock resistance, further reinforcing the tool watch credentials of the 358.

Power comes from the tried and tested ETA 7750, meaning ease of service and reliability.

This particular example was purchased new locally in 2015 and presents in TZ good condition. There’s a few nicks surrounding the indentations from case back removal on the rear, which downgrades it from Near Mint to Good according to the TZ scale. Otherwise there are only a few tiny rub marks on the case. See images for full condition details.

Service history is unknown, but as above the case back has been off before so assuming someone has looked at it. Currently running at +14 secs per day at 318 degrees of amplitude. Amplitude is extremely strong which is the indicator of a healthy movement, so a small timing adjustment could bring this back to COSC specs very easily.

Chrono stops, starts and resets as it should.
