The 1815 series is a personal favourite from A. Lange & Sohne. Featuring the typically clean dial aesthetic associated with the 1815 series, a sensibly sized 40mm case constructed in 18k white gold, spectacular blued hands and a movement that needs to be seen in person to be appreciated, it makes for a stunning daily wearer or special-occasion piece for the current price of a modern steel sports Rolex on the secondary market - amazing.
This particular piece is in TZ Excellent condition. Has been worn, and thus shows some minor hairlines, small scratches and minor rub marks. Nothing deep that couldn't be refinished next service if desired. Please see images for full condition details.
Mechanically operating as it should. Winds very smoothly, and is currently keeping time at about +6 seconds per day with very strong amplitude. Unknown service history.
Comes as watch-only, no box or papers. Will include a Watch Vault Travel Pod and Watch Vault cleaning cloth.
Very nice example of a watch you don't see pop up everyday, and extremely good value for what it offers. RRP for the current reference is $49,000 AUD, and the earlier pieces from Lange show a nicer finish in our opinion.
