Slightly less sporting than the regular Seamaster, but still with tool watch credentials, akin to something along the lines of a Rolex Datejust. The 2812.50 is amongst the earliest pre-coaxial Aqua Terra references, and is a bit of a hidden gem.

Featuring a 42.2mm stainless steel case with a broad 21mm lug spacing, and a 50.2mm lug-to-lug. It is superbly detailed, with brushed flanks, with polished lyre lugs and polished bezel. The reasonably thin brushed mid-case does well to make it feel quite slim on the wrist with it's circa-14.5mm case thickness. Within this case lies a deep black gloss dial with applies markers, with a railroad minute track and slightly contrasting sub-dials for better legibility, with a discreet date at 6. The hands are highly polished and lumed.

Powering it is Omega calibre 3301, which is based around the famed Piguet 1285, with column wheel chronograph and automatic winding, and it is rated to 150m of water resistance.

This particular example would date from circa-2006 and presents in TZ 'Good' condition. The case is in very nice condition for its age, with minor scratches and swirls on the polished surfaces, and some minor flea bites on the bezel. The lugs also show strap change marks, and the reason for the 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' grading on the TZ scale is due to some very small nicks on the left side of the case as seen in the images. Please see photos for full condition details.

This was a strap reference, but unfortunately the original 'gator strap was removed when imported into Oz. It is now mounted to a lovely handmade Handdn Suede leather strap on stainless steel pin buckle, and also includes the original Omega deployant.

Service history is unknown. Currently timing at around +9 seconds a day at 300+ degrees of amplitude measured dial up on a timegrapher, and all functions operating as they should.

Comes with Omega service box, Pictogram card, undated warranty card and Omega deployant.

A fantastic daily-wearer for the money.

Brand: Omega

Reference: 2812.50.31

Circa: 2006

Case Material: Stainless Steel

Case details: 42.2mm

Bracelet: Handdn Suede Leather, Original Deployant Included

Movement: Omega 3301 Automatic Chronograph

Dial: Black

Hands: Luminous

Paraphernalia: Omega service box, Pictogram card, undated warranty card and Omega deployant

TZ Grading: Good

Watch Vault utilises the TZ grading system.
