Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Grande Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 White Gold Q2783520
Our love for the JLC Reverso here at WV HQ is no secret, and in our opinion this Tribute to 1931 piece is simply one of the nicest Reverso's that has ever been produced. Simple, elegant, but also quite substantial on-wrist due to the extra length on the case compared with most Reverso's, and the heft of the white gold. Personally we don’t feel there are many dress watches on the market that better this piece, and none at the price point this lies at.
The white gold case measures in at 46.8mm x 27.4mm x 7.2mm, and within it lies a frosted eggshell dial with navy blue indices, classic 'Reverso' print with no mention of Jaeger LeCoultre, classic sub-seconds at 6 and topped with magnificent blued hands.
Powering it is a buttery smooth 822 manual wind movement with spectacular winding feel. This particular example is also mounted to a Casa Fagliano-line leather strap from JLC, upping the sports quotient and allowing it to be worn casually with ease.
This particular piece was first sold in 2016 and presents in TZ 'Good' condition. The case shows scratches and small scuffs throughout which is typical of used Reverso's, and in particular those in gold, and has been graded as 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' due to the presence of some very small pin dents, and some minor dings visible on close inspection. Strap has plenty of life left, and the white gold tang buckle shows desk dive marks.
Comes with the outer box, inner box (shows heavy degradation), booklets, and warranty papers (expired).
This piece has now been discontinued and is getting harder and harder to find with values on the rise. If you want one, get in now.
