WATCH VAULT PAYMENT TERMS AND RETURN POLICY
Use of our website and any action with Watch Vault indicates that you accept these terms and conditions, which may be revised at any time. Please read these terms carefully.
PAYMENTS
- Watch Vault accepts major credit cards and PayPal for all orders under $5,000 AUD. Please note that for first time customers a copy of the credit card and photo ID will need to be sighted.
- For payments over $5,000 AUD please contact us for options.
- All payments submitted on the website are manually approved post our security checks being satisfied.
- Buyers are responsible for any wire/bank wire transfer fees. No items will be sent prior to the receiving of funds.
- For all watch sales, shipping will occur once payment has cleared into our account.
SHIPPING - STRAPS AND ACCESSORIES
- We offer FREE shipping on all Australian orders. Orders are dispatched via Registered mail through Australia Post. You will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number after your order has been processed. Please allow 2-8 business days once processed.
- All strap orders over $150 will be shipped Express free of charge.
- Express postage via Australia Post can be purchased at checkout for an additional fee for orders less than $150.
- Orders placed on a weekday will be shipped within 24 hours of the next business day (e.g. if placed at 1pm on a Monday, your order will go out on the Tuesday afternoon assuming Tuesday is not a public holiday). Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday will be shipped on the next working business day. Order placed in the morning before 12pm usually get shipped that same day assuming it's not a weekend, public holiday or sale period.
SHIPPING - WATCHES
- All items sold will be shipped promptly upon funds clearing our bank account.
- All watches are shipped fully insured for the full value of the specific piece.
- Watch orders will be shipped Tuesday and Friday each week.
- Order cut off times for shipment are 11:30am the previous business day.
- All shipments are sent via AusPost or DHL for domestic shipments, and via DHL for international shipments.
- In the case that packages are lost or stolen, a refund will be issued only upon the approval and payment of the insurance claim.
- Buyers are responsible for any taxes, tariffs, customs or duties due in the country of destination.
CONDITION OF TIMEPIECES
- All watches are sold as is. We will accurately describe the current condition and working order of all watches we sell to the best of our ability.
- Watch Vault makes no mechanical guarantee in terms of movement, accuracy or waterproofing unless otherwise stated and no warranty is provided unless otherwise stated.
TIMEPIECE INSPECTION PERIOD
- Watch Vault offers a 72 hour (from time of delivery) inspection period for any watches purchased directly from the website, and which has not had a prior inspection in person prior to collection/shipping. If you feel the watch has been misrepresented in any way, please communicate this back to us immediately via a phone call or email to obtain a refund authorization before shipping the watch back to our Melbourne office. Shipping is to be paid for by the buyer and must be sent via fully insured overnight or priority international delivery. The buyer agrees to assume any risks in shipping.
- No refund will be made after the 3-day inspection period ends.
CHANGE OF MIND
- Watch Vault does not provide refunds for change of mind. We may at our discretion provide a store credit if a watch has been purchased, remains unworn, and in exactly the same condition as delivered.
- The maximum time period for consideration for change of mind purchases is 72 hours from delivery date.
- Watches will be subjected to a 5% re-stocking fee in this instance, as well as recovery of shipping and insurance costs. The customer is responsible for returning the watch/accessory at their expense.
REFUND & RETURN INSPECTION POLICY
- We will conduct a thorough inspection of any returned item this includes watch straps and accessories.
- Provided the watch and or item sold is returned in the exact same condition, we will issue a refund for the timepiece less shipping and insurance costs, after the watch and or item is received back into our possession.
- The buyer assumes all risks in returning the item. If the item is not deemed to be misrepresented the item will be refunded less a re-stocking fee of 3% in addition to the shipping and insurance charges.
- If cancellation of an order is requested after payment is made via PayPal or Credit Card but prior to the item shipping, a refund will be given less any incurred payment platform processing charges. If the item is already shipped please refer to the policy in the paragraph above.
CANCELLATIONS OR RETURN REQUESTS OUTSIDE THE INSPECTION PERIOD
- If a refund is requested outside of the inspection period, or an item purchased and paid for but cancelled prior to arrival, a store credit may be provided at the discretion of Watch Vault, and if said credit is agreed to it will be processed less re-stocking fee of 3%, in addition to any shipping and insurance fees incurred.
WARRANTY
- No warranty is provided outside of the inspection periods unless expressly stated.
- Water resistance is not tested nor guaranteed on any watches that are sold.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
- Please note that the purchaser is responsible for any duties, taxes or tariffs upon the importation of any goods sold by Watch Vault into their country.
- Please research these prior to making any purchases as they vary by country, state and territory.
