Rolex Oysterdate Precision 6694 Blue Dial 

Absolutely one of the best value Rolex's on the market, and probably one of the best vintage buys out there full stop, the Oyster 6694 has long flown under the radar but that now appears to be changing and we can see why. With its 34mm case, oyster bracelet, date and gorgeous and rarely seen blue tritium dial, it makes for a versatile, elegant and very special piece and a superb entry point into the world of vintage Rolex.

This particular example dates to circa-1972 and presents in excellent vintage condition. The dial is in amazing condition. The tritium plots are all present and full. Correct silver date wheel with open 6's and 9's. Hands are tritium and match the plots.

Case is thick and sharp, with thick even lugs. Shows scratches and marks commensurate with its age, but nothing large. Shows some pitting between the lugs.

Case back is stamped 71, so assuming original. Plexi shows scratching.

Bracelet is a 7835 with 357 endlinks in very good condition. Contains 11 links and will fit up to an 8in wrist. Shows stretch, but fairly good for its age. Clasp is stamped 72, so assuming original.

Serviced in 2022, it's keeping time at around +18 seconds a day at high 200's amplitude face-up on a timegrapher, winds smoothly.

Comes with correct outer box, inner box, punched papers, hang tag with serial number, service receipt and aftermarket leather strap.
