Zenith has been knocking it out of the park for the past decade or so now, and the Defy line embodies what we love about them so much. This particular piece is known as the Skyline Skeleton, and is a perfect combination of avante garde styling while maintaining daily usability. It truly feels like something different within a sector of integrated sports pieces that can be all a little too 'samesy' at times.

There isn’t just one star of the show with this piece, and it’s great success is the blending of a bunch of aesthetically distinctive components and somehow making them all work in harmony. Throw in a great deal of technical prowess, and good old watch making chops and you’ve got a true standout piece and something a little different from the rest of the pack which Zenith needs to be applauded for.

The case measures in at 41mm and is made of black ceramic with a combination of brushed and polished finishes. Housed within this superbly proportioned case is a black open-worked dial, with the bridges, jewels and silicone escape wheel peeking out and providing some contrast to the sea of black.

It’s powered by the in-house El Primero 3620 SK high-frequency automatic movement with one of the coolest rotors in the biz, to go along with it’s silicone escape wheel and the very first 1/10th of a second indicator spinning away at 6.

Finishing it off is an awesome brushed and polished ceramic bracelet, and thanks to the fantastic quick release system this can be swapped to the supplied rubber strap in a jiffy.

This particular piece was originally purchased locally in November 2023 and presents in TZ 'Mint' condition, with no discernible signs of wear that we can see. See images for full condition details.

All functions operating as they should, and remains under the balance of manufacturers warranty until 2028.
