Rolex Explorer II Polar Dial 216570
A modern update to the long enduring 16570, the Explorer II 216570 is quite a different piece aesthetically to its forebears. Now featuring a 42mm steel case with maxi dial, it's a proper tool watch with GMT capability for those that perhaps find the 40/41mm range a touch small for their tastes. The Explorer II also one of the more under-the-radar sports pieces, and always has been, which definitely has its own appeal for those wanting to enjoy their watch without the attention some of the other more recent models attract.
Featuring a 42mm Oystersteel case topped with a stunning sunburst 24-hour fixed bezel, it houses a white maxi-dial with orange second timezone hand, and is powered by the calibre 3187.
This particular piece dates from 2011 presents in TZ 'Excellent' condition. The case has scratching present on the sides, and some small 'flea bites' where the polished sides meet the brushed surfaces on the lugs. Bezel shows some minor rub marks and small scratches. Crystal has a small chip on its outer edge between 1 and 2. Please see images for full condition details.

No known service history. Currently keeping COSC time when measured dial-up on a timegrapher, and all functions operating as they should.
Includes outer box, inner box (shows wear), instruction booklet, service manual, card holder, hang tags, and original purchase receipt. The receipt is very faded, but some parts can be made out including purchase date. No warranty card.
