Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600 D-Serial

One of our favourite 5 digit Rolex's, the Sea-Dweller was a long under-appreciated piece that is now finally getting the recognition it deserves as a more interesting take on the Sub, with higher specifications and a lack of cyclops.

This particular D-serial piece was first sold locally in 2007 and presents in excellent neo-vintage condition. The case shows amazing finishes, with clear bevel lines in place and factory finishes. Looks unpolished to our eyes. Shows some light scuffs and scratches, and some small dings and nicks on the bevel lines and case band. Rear of lugs show some strap change marks. Case back sticker still in place.

Original SuperLuminova dial is in superb condition with no visible signs of wear. Hands are matching. Bezel is in fantastic condition. Crystal is also excellent.

Bracelet is a 93160A with solid endlinks, and an MA stamped clasp which is correctly dated for a D Serial. Has 10 links and will fit roughly a 7.5in wrist. Shows next to no stretch, with a very tight clasp. Has some desk dive marks, but in amazing condition.

Service history unknown. Currently keeping time at around +6 secs a day at 300+ degrees of amplitude. Winding is very smooth.

Amazing example of one of Rolex's coolest pre-ceramic sports pieces. You wont find many better than this.
