Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch ST 145.0022 

The Speedy Pro Moonwatch needs no introduction, so we won't give it one. All you need to know is that this is one of the most iconic, if not the most, chronograph in the business.

This particular example is one of the highly coveted 145.0022 which would date from circa-1996, and presents in very good vintage condition. Case is thick and shows excellent finishes, with some wear from regular use in the form of some small nicks and pin dents on the case sides, and scratches from regular wear.

The dial is in fantastic condition, with the tritium markers taking on a lovely hue. The hands are tritium, and in excellent condition.

It's mounted to a Omega 1171 bracelet with 633 endlinks, which shows moderate stretch for its age. It includes enough links to fit roughly an 8in wrist at full extension, and shows scratches and scuffs from regular use.

Powered by the iconic manual wind chronograph calibre 861, it’s running very nicely in this example. Service history is unknown. Winds smoothly and keeping time at around +2 seconds a day at 279 degrees of amplitude measured dial-up on a timegrapher. Chrono starts, stops and resets as it should. Pushers show some play, so would likely be due replacement at next service, though this is fairly standard when servicing.

Comes with a Watch Vault Travel Pod, and Watch Vault cleaning cloth. No box or papers.
