A. Lange and Sohne Lange 1 Moonphase Rose Gold 192.032

If you like your Lange 1's with a little more to them than the time and date only references, but still with classic Lange 1 proportions, then the 192.032 should be a reference on your radar.

Featuring the classically sized 38.5mm Lange 1 case crafted in rose gold case that's just 10.3mm thick, and 47mm lug-to-lug.  Given this is the newest generation of rose gold from Lange, you'll notice it features both brushing and polishing across its flanks. Early rose gold pieces were all of high polish, and this distinct finishing difference makes for a fairly different look visually, and one that we prefer.

Within this case lies a brilliant galvanized sterling silver dial, with a moonphase and Day/Night indicator integrated into the sub-seconds register.  They've done a great job of integrating these complication in without spoiling the harmony of the Lange 1 dial, with the Day/Night indicator being particularly elegant with it's starry sky rotating around the sub-register in sync with the time, and the solid gold moon looking as though it floats above it. Lovely.

Atop this dial sits lumed hands, not a common sight on Lange 1's.

It is powered by the Lange Caliber L121.3 hand-winding mechanical movement with twin barrels and a 72 hour power reserve, with outstanding visual depth thanks to it's German Silver construction, gold chatons, and hand engraved balance cock.

It's finished off with the superb Lange 'gator strap, which features one of the nicest tang buckles in the business.

This particular example was first sold in 2022 and presents in TZ 'Near Mint' condition. The polished surfaces show light swirlies and minor hairlines typical of gold. The bezel shows a light scratch near 5, and there's a light surface scratch on the brushed case side just below the pusher. Please see images for full details.

The Lange 'gator strap is in excellent condition, and the tang buckle shows some minor desk dive marks.

No service history, much too new for that. Keeping COSC time, and all functions operating as they should.
