Ball Roadmaster Marine GMT Titanium DG3030B

With the Roadmaster Marine GMT, Ball continue on their tradition of making watches in their own way, with an eye firmly on usability and capability. While the colourway used on the bezel may be cheekily borrowed from the most well known of watch brands, everything else about this watch is pure Ball.

That case is made of titanium, and measures in at 40mm x 14mm x 47.8mm, and feels both light, and substantial on the wrist at the same time thanks to that use of titanium and the way the bracelet integrates with the lugs. While not technically an integrated bracelet watch, it does feel a bit that way thanks to the flare of the endlinks past the slim lugs. The case is topped with a 24-hr GMT bezel with ceramic insert in black and blue which is bi-directional, and is lumed for maximum legibility, something of a calling card for Ball. 

Within this case lies a deep blue dial with the signature Ball tritium tubes ensuring it stays legible at all hours of the day. Being a GMT, it has an independently adjustable GMT hand, as well as quick set day and date. Now what is interesting is how that GMT hand is adjusted. Depsite the two pushers hanging out the side of the case, this is not a chronograph. That patented mechanism allows you to quick adjust the GMT hand back and forth using the pushers, which can then be locked in place to ensure the 300m of water resistance remains intact. Simple, and very useful.

Powering it is the Ball RR1203-C (ETA 2893-2) automatic with COSC certification. It's currently mounted to their fantastic bracelet in titanium. It also comes with an aftermarket rubber strap, so you can change up the look and feel whenever you'd like. 

This particular one-owner piece was first delivered in 2025 and presents in TZ 'Excellent' condition. The case shows small rub marks and scratches, though no dings/dents. The lugs show marks from strap changes, as well as some small nicks on the 12 side. Bezel shows very minor marks on the titanium portion. Please see images for full condition details.

The bracelet includes all links, and shows desk dive marks throughout. Shows some scratches on the backside near the lugs from strap changes. Rubber strap is in excellent condition.

All functions operating as they should and currently keeping COSC at 300+ degrees of amplitude measured dial-up on a timegrapher.
