Behrens Inventor Ultra-Light 11G Green Timeless Bamboo LE BHR030 

Behrens are doing some seriously impressive stuff in the independent space, and if you've not heard of them yet, you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to dig a little deeper into their innovative, and frankly unbelievable value, watches. Founded in 2012 in Shenzhen, in a short 14 year timespan they've developed a huge amount of in-house manufacturing, allowing them to create unique concepts and architectural displays unheard of at these price points.

This particular reference is known as the Ultra-Light 11G, and is part of their Inventor Series. Based on the still extremely light 20G, Behrens decided to take things a step further and create the case out of a special composite known as SPSCF. This is a diamond-coated carbon fiber developed exclusively by Behrens, and endows the watch with a weight of just 11 grams. Yes, 11. The case itself has a 42mm lug-to-lug, with a 38mm measurement across the bezel, and a mind-bending 5.2mm thin. It's curved design allows it to wrap around your wrist, and more than any other watch we've had the pleasure of wearing, totally disappears unless you're looking at it, which is aided by the ultra comfy rubber strap.

We'd usually say 'within this case' when referencing the dial and movement, but that would not be technically correct. The case is the movement, with the curved case back acting as the base plate, and therefore the movement is also curved. Very cool. So, how do you read it? Well, the retrograde dial on the lower left is hours, opposed by minutes on the opposite side. Up in the top left you'll find the power reserve indicator for the 38 hour power reserve (manually wound, clearly). The rest of the dial area is taken up by the gear train and skeletonized bridges, with the balance swinging back and forth at 6. It's super fun to wear, extremely comfortable, and a technical marvel. Who needs an RM.

This particular example was part of a special series produced for Juice Community in 2025, and presents in TZ 'Mint' condition, with no signs of wear that we can see on the case. Please see images for full condition details.

The rubber strap is near-new, and the buckle shows the most minor of marks. 

Remains under the balance of manufacturers warranty, and is currently keeping COSC time at 300+ degrees of amplitude measured dial-up on a timegrapher.
