Breguet Classique Blue Enamel Dial 18k White Gold 5177BB/2Y/9V6

The 5177 series is the embodiment of classical watchmaking in the modern era from Breguet. With very high levels of hand finishing and craft work on the case, traditional enamel dial, and modern quality, it has created a watch that is a pure celebration of mechanical watchmaking.

Utilising a white gold case measuring in at 38mm in diameter, 46mm lug-to-lug, and just 8.8mm thick, it tends to wear a little larger aesthetically than it's diameter suggests due to the straight lugs and minimal bezel, while also having the ability to fit under almost any cuff. The case itself is handmade with cold rolled coin edge detailing on the flanks, which are hand finished. The lugs are welded to the case, like is done with Lange and high end JLC.

Within this highly detailed case lies a blue Grand Feu enamel dial, which at first glance may appear quite simple, but is extremely nuanced and rewards closer inspection, and the process of creation takes over 12 firings to produce in an extremely delicate process. The Breguet numerals and minute track are hand painted, while a secret signature lies above 6. That's not something you see very often. The hands are classic Breguet.

Powering it is the automatic in-house calibre 777 Q, with a 55-hour power reserve, hacking seconds, and balance spring, lever and escape wheel in silicon which is beautifully finished and visible through the sapphire case back.

This particular piece was first sold locally in 2023 and remains in TZ 'Near Mint' condition. The case and bezel shows minor swirls and hairlines, but that's about it. Dial is perfect, as are the hands. See images for full condition details.

It's mounted to a Breguet 'gator strap in blue which remains in amazing condition,with Breguet tang buckle in white gold that shows minor marks.

No service history, far too new for that. Currently keeping COSC time dial-up on a timegrapher, and all functions operating as they should.
