Chronoswiss Pacific Chronograph 43mm Automatic CH-7583B-BK

Chronoswiss largely fly under the radar, but are responsible for some extremely cool watches throughout their 42 year history, and are definitely well worth your time looking into. This particular series is known as the Pacific, and they combine vintage aesthetics with modern proportions, and a unique look that could only be a Chronoswiss.

Featuring a 43mm case in steel, with a 53mm measurement across the unmistakable curved Chronoswiss lugs, and a thickness of 15.45mm. The complex case is highly detailed, with vertical brushing along its flanks, with polished caseback and bezel sandwiching the very defined mid-case which makes it appear quite a bit thinner on the wrist. It's finished with distinctive crown and pushers, with a touch of green on the inner portions of the pushers complimenting the green chrono hands.

It houses a black dial with applied markers, white minute track, and silvered sub-dials for the chronograph functions, which when combined with their green hands makes it very clear and legible in operation and separates them from their regular time-keeping counterparts. It's topped with a box-sapphire crystal, and powering it is the venerable ETA 7750 for maximum reliability, and in this form is known as the Caliber C. 771. It's finished off with a lovely Chronoswiss leather strap with green stitching with steel tang buckle.

This particular piece presents in TZ 'Excellent' condition. Th case is very clean overall, with the only real signs of wear being scratches around the 4 screws in the lugs from strap changes, some small rub marks on the case sides, and swirls and minor hairlines on the case back. Specific service history is unknown, but looks to have had one at some point as the markers on the dial show some slight oxidisation, and some scratches. Movement also shows some small marks from service visible under a loupe. Currently keeping COSC time at 300+ degrees of amplitude.
