Doxa SUB 300 Shark Hunter COSC

An absolute icon of the dive-watch world, the SUB 300 was made famous by Jacques Cousteau, who was famously so impressed by the watches that he became a distributor for them in the US. Endorsements don’t come much higher than that in the dive-watch world.

The Sub 300 harks back to a time when watches were used as proper tools. With an unmistakeable aesthetic, this could only be a Doxa. This particular spec is a personal favourite of ours, and features the classic black 'Shark Hunter' dial, combined with rubber on Doxa's deployant with inbuilt clasp adjustment.

Constructed from 316L stainless steel, the SUB 300 has a diameter of 42.5mm, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, 300 metres of water resistance, anti-reflective coating and is powered by an ultra reliable ETA movement adjusted to COSC standards. The SUB 300 COSC is also thinner than the Sub 300T, adding to its comfort and wearability.

This particular piece was purchased in September 2020 and presents in TZ Good condition. Has clearly been worn, and the case shows scratching throughout. Bezel shows scratching, and there's a very minor ding on the lower bevel line on the left side of the case. See images for full condition details.

Rubber strap has been cut to fit a roughly 7in wrist, and with the clasp extended will fit around a 7.5in wrist. Clasp shows scratches and scuffs.

No service history. Running at around -15 secs a day at 320+ degrees of amplitude. Amplitude is extremely strong, so would suggest a regulation to get it back to COSC standards.
