Grand Seiko High Beat 36000 Ginza Limited SBGH315
Released in 2023 as a limited run of 400 pieces, the SBGH315 has a very unique dial that at first sounds like it wouldn't work at all, but in person is one of the nicest GS dials we've seen to date. The intersecting, grid-like pattern is an aerial view of the streets of Ginza, which doesn't sound all that spectacular, but the way it's been executed absolutely is. I could try and explain it, but would probably be doing it a disservice. Have a look at the photos and you'll see just how dynamic it is.
Atop this dial sits an applied GS logo, and typically sharp and supremely finished Dauphine hands and applied markers in steel, devoid of colour to allow the dial to do the talking.
The case itself is a very compact 40mm x 47mm x 12.9mm in steel, with broad polished facets across the lugs, and thin brushed mid-case. Powering it is the excellent 9S85 Hi-Beat calibre with 55 hour power reserve. Finishing it off is the lovely GS bracelet, and when combined with it's 100m of water resistance it's the perfect daily companion.
This particular example was sold new in July 2023 and remains in brand new condition. Has not been sized, or worn. Please excuse any fingerprints as we've chosen not to wipe it too much to ensure no swirls. May show minor handling marks. Please see images for full condition details.
