H. Moser & Cie Heritage Dual Time 8809-1200

Featuring some of the most gorgeous fume dials on the market, Moser blends luxury and sport like few others can. This is their Heritage Dual Time, and is their take on a slightly complicated field watch, and executed in a way that only Moser could!

Sized at 42mm, with a height of 11.7mm, and a 46.8mm lug span which is quite short for a 42mm watch so very wearable for most wrists. The case mixes those modern proportions with classic charm, and again evokes the field watch aesthetic with it's wire-look lugs, and large pocket-watch style crown. The case is hand-finished, and of the quality and attention to detail you'd expect of Moser.

Within this case lies a Burgundy fumé dial, morphing from a deep bordeaux in its centre to a very dark burgundy verging on black towards the outer portions of the dial. It's topped with arabic markers made of solid blocks of lume to go along with the heavily lumed sword-style hands, with the Moser signature applied in a ghosted lacquer which we love.

Powering it is the completely in-house HMC 809 automatic movement with 3 day power reserve, and a second timezone function operated via the crown. The small second time zone hand can be completely hidden behind the hour hand when not in use which is a great feature. It is finished off with Moser's fantastic Kudo strap on tang buckle.

This particular example was purchased in August 2023 and presents in TZ Near Mint condition, with only the very light signs of use in the form of some hairlines and swirlies, and some strap change marks on the lugs. Strap remains in excellent condition, and buckle shows some minor desk dive marks. Please see images for full condition details.

Running beautifully as you'd expect of such a young watch, keeping COSC time. Remains under manufacturers warranty until August 2025.
