H. Moser & Cie Pioneer Centre Seconds Rotating Bezel 3200-1210 C.02 for Collective

The C.02 was developed by Collective Horology in conjunction Moser to bridge the gap between Moser’s two sports lines, the Streamline and the Pioneer. Built around the 42.8mm Pioneer case, it adds a bi-directional rotating bezel, and the traditional domed crystal is replaced with a box crystal, creating less distortion and higher legibility for daily use as well as more compact dimensions.

Like all Mosers, the dial I where the real magic is, and this is perhaps the coolest Moser dial we’ve seen to date. Known as “Collective Green”, the degradé green griffé dial takes the colour from the Pioneer line, with the treatment from the Streamliner dials to create something very special indeed. Alternating form a deep, almost black, olive green in low light to an extremely vibrant light green in direct sunlight, its truly special and Collective must be applauded for requesting such a striking combination of colour and finish being put together. A true stroke of genius.

To top off the dial, the applied indices are in Globolight®, with hour markers in Superluminova. Form and function.

Its versatility is furthered with the inclusion of a steel bracelet, Kudu strap and on this piece, a Moser rubber strap with tang buckle.

Powering it is Mosers beautiful HMC 200 automatic movement with 3 day power reserve.

This particular example was purchased in January 2021 and present sin TZ Goodcondition. The case shows some signs of regular wear in the form of some scratches and swirlies, and some small dings within the scalloped sides of the case. There’s also some nicks and scratches on the rear of the lugs from strap changes. The steel bracelet shows some desk diving marks. See images for full condition details.
