Hermès H08 DLC Titanium

Hermès have absolutely been kicking goals the last few years, with the amazing Slim d’Hermès series continuing to go from strength to strength, and the mind-bendingly cool Arceau L’Heure De La Lune series showing their aptitude with complication mixed with outstanding design. A fashion watch no longer. The latest in their lineup is the H08 series.

Introduced in 2021, its a modern take on the Hermes aesthetic and combines a wonderful cushion case measuring in at 39mm and fashioned in Titanium, which is then partially DLC-coated. The dial shows Hermes' typical mastery of fonts, with mixed-texture surfaces providing depth, and a lovely touch of orange from the seconds hand adding a pop of colour. In a lovely design touch, the counter-weight of the seconds hand also matches the case shape, and the date wheel font matches those of the hour markers, further highlighting Hermes' attention to detail when creating their watches.

Powering it is the Vaucher H1837 automatic calibre, and its mounted to a very cool fabric strap with titanium double-deployant and micro adjust built into the clasp. High quality stuff.

This particular piece was sold at a Hermès Boutique in Sydney, and presents in TZ 'Excellent' condition. The case is largely free of marks, though there is a scratch on the DLC on the right side. Please see images for full condition details.
