IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Ceramic 44.5 Top Gun IW389101
We've always had a massive soft spot for the Top Gun series, and has traditionally contained some of the coolest pieces in recent memory from IWC within its ranks. IWC were one of the pioneers of the use of ceramic in watchmaking, and the Top Gun line has become synonymous with this innovative material.
This version of the Top Gun was released in 2019, and is the classic Top Gun with it's 44.5mm case, highly legible dial, and was one of the first references in the series to use the new in-house 69380 automatic movement.
The case itself is manufactured in ceramic, while the pushers and crown are in untreated titanium which contrast beautifully against the flat black case. Within this case lies a wonderfully balanced dials, with the 30 minute counter at 12, running seconds at 6, and the 12 hour counter balanced by the day and date on it's opposite side. Classic white lumed railroad track minutes and markers create high-contrast legibility against the matte black dial, and it feels like pure IWC.
It's powered by the in-house 69380 automatic movement, which while based on 7750 architecture now features a column wheel and a 46h power reserve. It's water resistant to 60m, and finished off with IWC's fantastic pilot-style Textile strap with Titanium deployant.
This particular piece was originally sold in 2024 and presents in TZ 'Near Mint' condition, with the only signs of wear being some very light rub marks on the tops of the lugs and case sides. Please see images for full condition details.
All functions operating as they should, and remains under manufacturers warranty until 2032.
Comes with outer box, inner case, instruction booklet, IWC cleaning cloth, warranty card dated January 2024 and original purchase receipt.
