Laventure Transatlantique II GMT Steel/Black

If you’ve not heard of Laventure before, that would be no surprise. Kicking off in 2017, they’re a micro-brand based out of Neuchâtel that have amassed somewhat of a cult following amongst enthusiasts over the past few years. Once you’ve had a chance to hold them, it’s easy to see why. The design language is supremely cohesive, and they reek of quality and thoughtfulness in a way that puts most far more expensive brands to shame. Look up some reviews and you’ll see why those in the know within the watch world is waxing lyrical about Laventure.

This particular version is an update to their most well-regarded line, the Transatlantique, and features all of the previous models charm and throwback 60's adventurer looks, but in a more modest case size, updated colourway, and new movement.

It now features a 200m water resistant 38.9mm steel case with brushed, polished and sandblasted finishing, and is just 12mm thick including the heavily domed acrylic crystal. The dial is a matte black dial in a sandwich style construction, with warm ecru lume sitting beneath. Atop this sits heavily lumed rhodium-plated hours and minutes hands, white seconds and beautiful arrow-tipped green GMT hand.

The bezel is probably our favourite feature, with a 24 notched bi-directional rotating bezel with Plexiglas insert, which then has the numbers machined out and filled with SuperLuminova, and is reminiscent of an old Bakelite bezel.

Powering it is the Caliber 3 automatic movement, which is produced for Laventure and based on the SW330-2, and is COSC-certified. Finishing it off is Laventure's superb strap in green rubber.

This particular piece was first delivered in June 2025 and presents in TZ 'Near Mint' Condition. looks to have been worn sparingly, and shows only minor swirls on the polished surfaces, and some minor desk dive marks on the buckle. Please see images for full condition details.
