Nomos Ahoi Atlantik Datum 40.3 Ref 553

We absolutely adore Nomos here at Watch Vault, and they’re regularly our go-to recommendation for watches under 5k. They feature fantastic finishing for the money, in-house movements, wonderful proportions and stunning Bauhaus designs that are unlikely to be confused with any other brand on the market.

The Ahoi series is their diver, but gives up nothing in terms of dress suitability despite the extra functionality. Think of it as a Tangente with lume, extra water resistance and a splash of colour and you’re on the right track.

Featuring a contemporary sized 40.3mm steel case, it wears closer to a 42mm in size due to the signature Nomos long-lugs. The case features 200m of water resistance, houses a deep blue dial with lumed markers and light blue lumed hands, with a beautifully integrated date at 6. Powering it is the DUW 5101 in-house automatic movement.

This piece was originally purchased locally in 2020 and presents in TZ 'Very Good' condition. The case shows small scratches and hairlines, with some light rub marks present on the case sides. Bezel shows some scratches, as does the case back. See images for full condition details.
