Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Orange 42mm 217.30.42.21.01.003

Perhaps the most capable and toughest tool watches line to come out of Omega, the Planet Ocean series has gained a loyal following over the years for their deft mix of tool and daily capabilities. The series had seen steady evolution over the years, keeping a broadly similar design while adding in ceramic bezels, complications and increasing capability. Then in 2025, Omega shook up the formula and released this most current spec, and it's an absolute winner in our eyes. 

The case measures in at 42mm in steel, though now with a sharp, angular form compared with it's more free flowing predecessors, and takes inspiration from the super-serious dive watch, the Ultra-Deep released a few years back. With those sharp, angles lugs, lug-to-lug is only 47.5mm, with a thickness of 13.8mm. Surrounding it is Omega's iconic orange bezel, harking back to the original Planet Ocean series.

It houses a deep black dial with orange for the arabic markers, topped with those classic PO hands, and features plenty of lume. Powering it is the technically brilliant Master Chronometer-rated 8912 movement, hidden behind a solid case back just like the first generation. With a water resistance of 600m, and mounted to the new Omega flat-link steel bracelet with quick-adjust clasp, it’s a proper tool watch with just the right amount of luxury thrown into the mix.

This particular piece was first sold locally in late 2025 and presents in TZ 'Near Mint' condition, with no signs of use to the case other than perhaps the very lightest of swirl marks on the polished facets. See images for full condition details.

Bracelet includes all links, and shows some light desk diving marks across the polished centre sections. Clasp still has a sticker in the centre section.

Remains under manufacturers warranty until 2030.
