If you’re after the biggest, baddest dive watch out there then this is the watch for you. The Ploprof was designed to be the ultimate dive watch. Originally developed in conjunction with famous French commercial diving company COMEX.
Everything about the Ploprof was designed to make it a more capable dive watch, and that carries through to the model we have before us today. This steel version was first released in 2009 and features a 55 x 48mm case with a monstrous 1200m of water resistance, bi-directional rotating bezel with safety lock, helium escape valve and is mounted to the amazing Omega rubber with quick-adjust within the clasp in black, with an Orange version also included. It’s powered by the Omega in-house calibre 8500 with co-axial escapement.
This particular example presents in TZ 'Good' condition. The case is in fabulous condition, with only very light marks present. The outer edges of the bezel shows some very small nicks/dings, which is the reason for the 'Good' rather than 'Excellent' grading. Bezel insert shows some marks, and some slight discoloration on a few of the numbers . Crystal shows some scratching seen under certain light. Please see images for full condition details.
Both straps have been cut to the second hole, and will fit roughly an 8" wrist at full extension. Clasp shows light desk diving marks.
Serviced by Omega in 2022, it's currently keeping COSC time at 300+ degrees of amplitude.
