Omega Speedmaster 'Dark Side of the Moon' 311.92.44.51.01.003

One of our favourite pieces in the Omega lineup, the Dark Side is a modern take on the Speedy formula.

Machined from a single block of black ceramic, the iconic 44.25 mm Speedmaster case is completed by a brushed ceramic bezel with matte chromium nitride tachymeter scale. The dial is again created from polished black ceramic and features blackened applied subdial rings at 3 and 9 o'clock, as well as 18K white gold applied indexes which make for a stunning contrast against the all-black dial. Powering it is OMEGA's Co-Axial Calibre 9300, and its mounted to a very supple Omega nylon strap with ceramic tang buckle.

This particular example presents in TZ Excellent condition. The case shows barely any hint of use, as is typical of ceramic, with the only real signs of wear being some scratches on the AR coating on the crystal, and a portion of it rubbed away toward the 5 marker and the 11 marker. The strap shows some wear, and the keepers have loosened their outer nylon. These blemishes are the reason for an 'Excellent' grading rather than 'Near mint'. Has just returned from an Omega service in September 2022. All functions operating as they should, and under service warranty.
