Tiffany & Co Mark Resonator 18k Yellow Gold 

Known more for their extremely desired stamps on the dials of other high end watches, Tiffany & Co also manufacture pieces under their own and have been doing so for a long time. The piece we have here shows they’re quite adept at doing so, too.

This particular watch is known as the Mark Resonator, and is their take on the classic manual-wind dress watches from the early to mid-20th century. It features a 37mm case in 18k yellow gold, that is just under 8mm thick. The proportions are wonderful, with strong lugs and a convex bezel with a step into the crystal, making it feel substantial on the wrist. If we didn't know the dimensions, we'd think it was 38-38.5mm. Within this case lies a simple opaline dial with classic Tiffany Romans for the markers, and is topped with blackened Alpha style hands.

Behind the solid caseback lies an ETA based manual wind movement, and is finished with a handmade German Fluco strap in suede with 18k Tiffany tang buckle.

This particular piece was purchased locally in 2004 and presents in excellent neo-vintage condition. The case shows light signs of wear from sparing use in the form of surface marks and hairlines, and some very small nicks/scrapes present under close inspection. Strap is brand new, and the buckle shows minor desk dive marks.

Currently keeping time at around -19 seconds a day measured dial-up on a timegrapher. Amplitude is very strong at 280 degrees, with 0 degrees of beat error, so a regulation should have it running closer to COSC if that bothered you. 

Comes with original signed and stamped papers (expired), and instruction manual. No box.
