Tudor Pelagos FXD Black 42mm 25717N

For us, the FXD series are the best modern Tudors that have been released to date, bar none. For those not familiar with their vintage Tudor's, the holy grail's for most collectors are the MN pieces, military pieces produced for the French Navy, or Marine Nationale as they are known in their homeland. In 2021, Tudor reignited their collaboration with MN, and the FXD was born. In 2023 Tudor expanded on this range with a US-Navy inspired piece utilising a black dial with a single line of red text, a-la 1680 Red.

Utilising a 42mm case made from titanium with fixed lugs, it is far thinner than a regular Pelagos at 12.75mm thick. This is always noticeable as the dial is far closer to the sapphire crystal than on a regular Pelly. It houses a super-legible matte black dial with white markers and classic Snowflake hands, a single line of red text for 'Pelagos', and is surrounded by a uni-directional dive bezel made of titanium with a ceramic insert. Both are lumed to the nines. It's powered by the COSC MT5602 automatic movement, and comes equipped with an awesome fabric strap with velcro attachment and a second rubber strap that's perfect to test out its 200m of water resistance

This particular example was sold new in Q3 2023, and presents in TZ Mint condition, with only the lightest signs of any use. See images for full condition details.
